EU Servers are now live!

That was a slog - but as of about an hour ago, the EU servers are now live!

Right now we have two EU servers running in Frankfurt - and I am very curious to see the performance of those that used to play across the pond before.

More news to come shortly about the upcoming patch.

    There's barely any population left on the US servers... How about doing some mass inviting so we can actually play after everybody disperses?

    after that check if everything is running fine
    then they will invite 25k more ppl mostly from eu if im right...

    maybe they should take an eye for east us ppls to even if im from germany :P

    YAAAAYYY FOR EU SERVERS!!

    ive been playing on US for the last couple weeks with a ping averaging at 250, but spiking as high as 1000ms. now on EU... average ping of 35, no higher than 50 =D (P.S. This is from Scotland)

    The thing is, when you have a current population of ~500 people, about to be split in half, while 10% sit in social, you're not going to have any fully populated districts on either side.

    Ping hit 6ms at one point while playing in Waterfront.

    Quite low compared to the ~300ms I get on the US server.

    50-130ms of lag in European servers, compared to the 350-600 I had in the American server. Im in heaven! XD

    Some US players ping better to the new EU servers than they do to the one in their own state/country

    This is unacceptable. Fix the Westcoast US server already.

    They will let us know when we can login again (on Facebook)! :)

    what about better optimalization, game should work on max details and i got 20 fps on minimum lol + 20 more my friends got same problems 10-30 fps on newest pcs my mate spent 2k $ and he cant run game on minimum

    Its great! Thank you guys for setting up EU Server! The whole game is completly changed, the way the vehicles drive, the gunfights, everything. It is a ton of more fun now! Thank you! :)

    do NOT expect to get into closed beta, it will save you alot of inbox checking and hoping, plus, it will be that much MORE exiting if you check your inbox and see that you did get into closed beta :D

    Exactly the same location, exactly the same result! Latency is awesome for us on these servers, absolutely stunning! Suddenly APB just got a WHOLE LOT more exiting!

    I like the attention to hackers....that was my first main issue, but you still have absolutely no in-game method of reporting, which is a fail. My second main issue, even before opening EU servers up, there is only close to 1% of the original 25,000 beta-invited testers participating. Since APB was a ghost-town under RTW, and still is, how is GF going to attract a very large and active following so the game isn't a single-player borish linear grind?

    i agree with your hacker issue. but most of the time i personally think the guys i think cheat are just good players.
    2nd when OB starts there will be alot of players playing. only for me its 6 of my friends without beta invite that will join ;)
    And if they hold their promisses with new content i think they will get a constant playerbase.

    no if you create new character you can select eu server;) region is not mater ;) but latenci is bad ;) i have on speedtest.net latenci 14 to franfurt and ingame have 70-120

    no just log in in US region and the when you create a character you can choose EU or US...

    beta invite start after they decide update game to 1.50 ;) they said update been before or with start eu server ;) they say lot of things but dont do them ;)
    becouse this game is good concept but bad programed and failed optimalized game engine (i never seen worse handling with U3 engine) and failed optimalize network ;)
    they try fix all what RTW messed up but its hard becouse RTW make this game EPIC FAIL ;)

    Honestly, it would be nice to know an extreamly loose time frame for anxious players not unlike myself. Something like.. shooting for mid July for open beta and August for launch. Those of us who are following the posts already know that game development is dynamic, but at least we don't have to suffer daily hoping for some word of hope. It give us some sanity back.

    Does any1 actually remember RTW and the bullshit we were spoon fed day in day out. Techmech does not have to make these posts but he tries to give us as much feedback as possible.

    If APB is to survive long term then they can take as long as they need getting things sorted.

    Theres most likely some bugs in the patch that need ironing out. Theres only a small team its not Treyarch or Dice with hundreds of employees. every man hour counts and they all have lives outside of APB.

    i can't play APB. even when i boght the first game. my computer told me that evrything was well and matched all the requirements. then when i start it up it tells me that my hardware doesn't meet the requirements! was really lloking forward to this :(

    Oh dear,
    I really think they SHOULD activate CB accounts.
    A new era began. The time of waiting is over.

    I activared mii beta key in Feb.
    And YET no invitation. I think they should let
    original APB players earlier in than new guys.

    I played APB since key to city. One month later I see that all servers are down.
    It felt like I was scammed. I worked hard for mii money and suddenly all servers are down. I couldn't even acces their site!

    AND YET we still can't play.

    RTW has less time to release the game, because EA came in da game and FORCED RTW to release the game.

    Really this reload looks pretty poor right now... US wave was like 6 weeks ago? And u promise to make seconds wave in 1 or 2 weeks after first... Since that i start to doubt your competence.

    And at this point they said.. FIRST we will open EU servers AMD then we will invite another 25k gamers.

    So maybe you are drunk or you need to learn how to read but that is what they said bro.

    4 days checking if EU servers are running propper is unnecessary, a better check is: inviting 25k gamers.

    Ok that hurts my eyes. Way to much whining. Anyhow G1 next time you do a beta, make certain Application can be updated. My DXdiag in no way represents my Current setup. When I started submitted it I had a 5 year old PC. Now I have a PC new PC from alienware. (got tired of playing new games on low settings.

    Is it so difficult to invite some european people? I don't think so! So what are u waiting for? I don't understand why you're acting like that. It takes less than 5 minutes to invite people, so can u please do it? Thanks.
